Links and resources

This is a very non-exhaustive list of blogs, resources, sites, and other internet spaces I enjoy. I've added links to the associated Tor Hidden Service when it's available. I'll try to add more over time

People

  • Solene's Blog: She's a member of the QubesOS core team and makes exellent posts about lots of nerdy stuff.
  • Maia Arson Crimew's site: It posts about hacktivism, security-oriented journalism, and more. Very cool stuff.
  • Journals, publishers, mags

  • CrimethInc: Publisher of radical essays, information, news, and more.
  • Unoffensive Animal: Anti-speciesist anarchist collective publishing news about animal liberation activity
  • It's Going Down: News/opinion/podcasts/reporting about autonomous movements in North America
  • The Anarchist Library: Free digital library with tons of literature about anarchist theory and related topics. [Tor hidden service]
  • Technology

  • AnarSec: Tech guides for anarchists [Tor hidden service]
  • Overte: Open-source social VR worlds. It's a good example of the best ideas of the so-called "metaverse" (malliable digital spaces for immersive interpersonal expression) without the proprietary, cryptocurrency-backed corporate garbage it's so deeply associated with.
  • Cwtch: Private messaging app for Android. This would be my favorite app for communication if there were more than like 10 people using it.
  • QubesOS: Secure desktop operating system [Tor hidden service] I <3 QubesOS
  • GrapheneOS: Secure, Android-based mobile operating system
  • TailsOS: Anonymous, amnesic operating system
  • Tor Project: Creators of the Tor network and browser [Tor hidden service]
  • Music

  • The Shfl: The best resource I've found for discovering new music.
  • The Counterforce: Hardcore punk reviews/interviews/how-to's/etc. I can't recommend their manifesto enough. It shared a lot of the same frustrations I have with the 'Instagram-ification' of radical communities
